How the quiz branches

Thirty-one screens. Twenty-seven of them everybody sees, in the same order. The four in mulberry are conditional — each is skipped when the question above it gets its opt-out answer. That is the whole of the branching: four independent yes/no decisions, sixteen possible routes.

The four conditions

Each rule looks only at the screen directly above it, and they never interact — so the routes are just every combination of four independent choices.

ScreenDecided bySkipped when the answer isWhy it is conditional
1.61.5What’s changed in the last few years?Honestly, not muchIt’s physiology, not willpower — the screen explains the mechanism behind her symptoms. Nothing to explain if she reports none.
2.72.6Where do you feel stiff or achy?Nowhere muchThese aren’t separate problems — ties her aches together into one cause. Needs at least one ache to tie.
2.92.8Do you ever leak?NeverThen we won’t ask you to jump — explains why impact work is being left out. Only relevant if it is being left out.
4.24.1What got in the way before?Nothing’s really stopped meFifteen minutes is not selfish — answers the barrier she named. Nothing to answer if she named none.

On the multi-select screens the trigger is “only”. Ticking the opt-out alongside a real answer still shows the interstitial — a stray tick cannot hide a screen she should see.

The longest and shortest routes

Both routes end at 5.1 and continue identically through 5.2, 5.3 and the paywall. The spread between the two is four screens — about 13% of the funnel.
